Who we are

We are located in the Texas Hill Country, one hour north west of Austin. Our dogs are part of our family and fill our life with joy. 

Occasionally we breed Great Dane/Irish Wolfhound Lurchers and Borzoi/Irish Wolfhound Longdogs.  We also rescue and foster large breed dogs and sighthounds on a private basis. They stay here with us in our house until we have found the ideal home for them.

Our puppies don't leave our home until they are at least 8 weeks old. This is important for their proper socialization and well being. 

In the appropriate socialization stages we expose our puppies to situations that may arise in daily life (e.g. vet visits, contact to children of different ages, visitors, cats, loud noises, car rides, etc.) and introduce them to collar and leash. 

We decided for our first litter of Longdogs to keep the puppies here with us until they reached the age of 10-12 weeks. This gave us more time to evaluate this new cross-breed, and to work with every puppy one-on-one on basic commands, house and leash training. We strive to lay the best possible foundation for our puppies, so that they can develop to their fullest potential.

New puppy owners receive a cross breed specific Puppy Care Sheet to make the dog's transition to the new home easier.
We encourage the owners of our puppies to get in touch with us if they have any question. 

We always recommend that new owners attend a basic obedience class with their puppy. This is a great way of learning and strengthens the bond between dog and owner.
